Purpose

FAIR is a charity established in 2017 to promote and fund research into autoimmune disease. FAIR is calling for applications for a research grant of up to £20k to support research related to autoimmune disease.

 

Applications using this form should be submitted electronically to: faircharityuk@gmail.com by 31 March 2023 5pm. Applications will be considered by the Trustees of FAIR and all decisions will be final. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

 Terms and Conditions

Applicants will be notified of the outcome approximately two months after the submission deadline. Award-holders must provide written confirmation of ethical approval and any regulatory approvals prior to funding being made available and commencing the project. 

Projects should be of 2 year duration with a 6- monthly written progress report required from each project, to be supplied by the lead applicant, and a full final report. 

FAIR grant awards can be applied to salary, project infrastructure and consumables costs. All reasonable costs relating to publication including conference fees and travel can be accounted for in applications.  All work arising from funded awards must acknowledge appropriately FAIR, in both publications, presentations and associated publicity and social media. Financial reporting will be required at the end of each project period, with any unspent funds made available for the charity to award again.

 Please attach a copy of your CV (maximum length 2 sides of A4). For joint applications, only the CV for the lead applicant needs to be provided.
